My challenge is based on the blue dot challenge on the WW (Weight Watchers) app. Since I'm not a fan of using apps,
I prefered to create a more personalized version and keep it on my home computer.
To earn each dot I must track and be no more than 5 points over my daily target. The color of the dots correspond with each
20 pound level depicted on the Flight to Fitness page. In other words, the color of the dot will
change at every 20 pound increment. I've also built in 4 "allowance" days, where I can splurge a little. If I meet the above
criteria to win that month, I receive a non-food reward.
This challenge has been effective, especially since I am a very competitive person. It has helped keep me on track during the
more difficult days. I am so thrilled to have found something that works. Especially since I've been losing and gaining the same
5-10 pounds repeatedly for the last several years. And yes, I plan to do 2nd, 3rd and 4th year challenges as needed.
